Hello, I am in desperate need of answers. I am a 42 year old woman who needs a hysterectomy as soon as possible. I am literally dying. I am 5'6 and usually 130 pounds. As of right now, I weigh 114lbs. My uterus has prolapsed so bad that I am down all day and have very bad times in the bathroom. I am in bad shape.This has continued for a month now.I do not have health insurance at this time.There is no help from the Oregon Health Plan for too many people are on it. I do not qualify for medicaid. I have looked into financial aid at several different hospitals and clinics and I panic to go into that kind of debt. My Dr has told me its going to cost around $20,000.000 to $25,000.00. As of right now, I have hardly any debt. My question to anyone out there is this...does anyone know where I might be able to find assistance or help for surgery. Charity? Grants? Foundations? Any resource that could possibly help? Trust me, I am just humble before you for even asking this. I am seeking answers and appreciate any answers that might help. Thank you for your time.
